Cast stone bas-relief of "Cotton Bowl," circa 1940 Clemson University Libraries Depicts football players in action. Created to honor the Clemson Tigers' victory over the Boston College Eagles in the 1940 Cotton Bowl Classic game. Shown prior to installation in April 1941 over the entrance door to the Clemson College Field House (later known as Fike Recreation Center). On back - 5 and 1/2 feet by 11 feet 1940 Cast Stone Plaster Mould on other side.
