In the spring of 2020 and continuing over the year, Clemson, as throughout the country, citizens came together to show their support for social justice and change brought forward by the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others. The Special Collections and Archives gathered materials from vigils, gatherings, and marches to document Clemson’s voice in the movements to bring an end to social prejudices and inequalities. The collection contains the pictures, videos, and posters from events on campus with many of the items from the Unity March organized by Clemson football players held on June 13, 2020. We hope this collection will remind you of the need to be a voice against injustice.
