Descriptive InformationExterior shot of installation of the football bas-relief, sculpted by Clemson alumnus A. Wolfe Davidson, above the entrance to the new 1941 Field House addition. The Field House originally consisted of a large gym designed by Rudolph E. Lee built in 1930; a smaller gym was added prior to 1940, and a front addition with athletic officers and lockers room was completed in 1941. The name "Field House," (also known as "Clemson Field House") referred to the entire complex.
