The Clemson Libraries Digitization Lab provides digitization services and consultations for campus and community partners. The Lab specializes in the digitization of unique cultural heritage materials for the purposes of online access and long-term preservation.

Request Thesis or Dissertation

Libraries employees requesting thesis or dissertation digitization, please use the Thesis or Dissertation Digitization request form.

If you are a Clemson University faculty member, instructor, researcher, or student or user external to Clemson looking for electronic access to a thesis or dissertation not available in ClemsonOpen, please make your request with Resource Sharing.

Community Partners

Institutions and organizations outside of Clemson University may request digitization of their cultural heritage materials by completing the Digital Project Proposal Form. This includes the groups below.

South Carolina Cultural Heritage Institutions

Galleries, libraries, museums, archives, historical societies, and educational institutions may have their unique materials digitized by Clemson University for the South Carolina Digital Library (SCDL). Upstate collections are digitized by Clemson and hosted by Furman University Digital Collections. Please refer to the SCDL collection policy before contacting us.

National and State Parks

National Park Service units may have their unique collections digitized by Clemson University as part of our parks digital library program, Open Parks Network. The Digitization Lab has worked with a large component of the Southeast Region of the National Parks and other national and state park units across the country.
